At the Jawahar Foundation, we believe that access to a wholesome meal is not a charity, but a fundamental human right. However, we also believe that the way a
meal is served matters as much as the food itself. This belief gave birth to Swabhiman Bhoj, our flagship community kitchen initiative designed to eradicate hunger
across Rajasthan while upholding the ultimate gift of self-respect.
In our kitchens, we serve more than just hot, nutritious, and hygienic meals; we serve hope. By offering these meals at a token amount of just ₹1, we ensure that
every individual, be they a daily wage earner, a traveler, or someone facing a difficult season, can sit at our table as a guest. This symbolic contribution preserves
the Swabhiman (self-respect) of every person we serve.
What began as a small ripple of care has transformed into a massive wave of transformation. As of January 2026, the Jawahar Foundation is humbled to have served over 33 lakh meals across Rajasthan.
Today, our 11 modern community kitchens across Ajmer, Banswara, Bhilwara, and Jaipur work tirelessly to deliver approximately 75,000 nourishing meals every single month. As we look to the horizon, our mission is to ensure that no city in our state is left behind, expanding our reach to ensure that no plate remains empty and no heart remains heavy.
